Euclid Public Library Closed to the Public

Euclid Public Library will close to the public on November 18, at 5:00 PM until further notice in compliance with the Cuyahoga County Department of Health's stay-at-home advisory. Euclid Public Library will suspend all fines during our closure. Please keep all checked-out items until the Library reopens.

Important Election Day Information

Euclid Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, for Staff Development Day. The Lobby and Meeting Rooms will be open for in-person voting from 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM.

Limited Lobby Service Continues

The library will continue limited lobby service to the public until further notice, including faxing and copying and call ahead hold pickups. One-hour computer sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Euclid Public Library Welcomes New Trustees to the Board

The Euclid Public Library Board of Trustees welcomed two new members on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, bringing the board back to full strength. New members Janeen Copic (Euclid) and Jeremiah Swetel (Euclid), bring diverse public and private sector experience to the seven-member board.

Five Days of Democracy

With an historically important election right around the corner, Euclid Public Library has joined forces with The City Club of Cleveland to invite patrons and staff to participate in Five Days for Democracy—a week dedicated to reminding us why democracy matters and our role in keeping it strong, from September 28-October 2, 2020.

EPL Resumes Services

Euclid Public Library reopened its doors to the public for services on Monday, September 21, 2020. Euclid Public Library extended library hours and business operations such as material browsing, one-hour computer sessions, copying, faxing, and reference services.

Euclid Public Library Now Offering Computer Reservations

Euclid Public Library now offers one-hour computer reservations to the public. The library will only accept one person per reservation in the computer lab and accommodate only one person per household. Computer access is available by appointment only.

No August Committee Meetings

The Euclid Public Library Board of Trustees will not convene in the month of August. The Board will meet again Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 6:00 PM.

Board of Education & Euclid Public Library Seeks New Trustees

The Euclid Board of Education is currently seeking candidates to fill two Library Board of Trustees positions at the Euclid Public Library. Applications are available at the Memorial Building 22800 Fox Ave., the Euclid Public Library, 631 East 222nd St., and below.

EPL & CLEVNET Hold Delays

Patrons should expect material hold delays until further notice due to logistical and process interruptions impacted by COVID and a recent change in our delivery provider. The State Library of Ohio recently contracted with a new courier company to manage the delivery of material holds throughout the state. While the state transitions to this new library delivery service, delivery of material holds will slow considerably until the new company gets up to speed.
