Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Euclid Public Library’s mission is to support and advocate for the Euclid Public Library through fundraising, volunteerism, and community programming. We work to strengthen the library’s ability to grow, adapt, and respond to the changing needs of our community — enhancing programs, expanding resources, and creating welcoming spaces where lifelong learning thrives. Together, we help ensure the library continues to serve, inspire, and connect all residents of Euclid today and for generations to come.
Together, we help power the future of Euclid Public Library.
What We Do:
Friends actively support the Euclid Public library in many ways, including:
Offer a variety of enriching community programs, including book and author series, Women in History luncheons, guest speakers, films, and other special events. As a Friend you will receive notifications in advance of any upcoming events.
Host annual book sales twice a year to foster community connection, celebrate literacy, and provide financial support for the library. A special preview of the book sale is open to "members only" the evening before the sale opens to the public.
Grow the Friends’ endowment fund to ensure lasting financial support for the library.
Invest in the future by providing scholarships opportunities to graduating library employees continuing their education.
Support year-round reading engagement by funding prizes for library contests, including summer and winter reading programs.
