This updated spine rendering showcases Bialosky's 'neighborhoods' concept, with seating areas nestled within low shelving. The open floor plan enhances sightlines throughout the space, allowing for a more connected and inviting atmosphere.

The design board draws inspiration from Lake Erie, featuring natural colors like blues, earthy tones, and wood textures. Each element, from paint colors to light fixtures, is chosen to reflect the beauty of the lake and its surroundings.

In this photo, we see a glimpse of the design elements for the new Teen Area. The color palette includes deep reds, oranges, blues, and textured patterns that create a modern and energetic feel. 

This rendering shows the children's and teen entry areas, with the blue carpet from the spine continuing into the children's section. The teen area is mostly enclosed, creating a distinct and private space.

Bialosky shows additional carpet selections for the renovation, furniture swatches, and paint colors. The palette features calming blues, greens, and natural wood tones.

Shore Room 39 has been refreshed with new carpet and paint, creating a vibrant and welcoming space for children and families. During the library renovation, the updated room will serve as a hub for children's programs. Kids will continue to enjoy crafts, story times, and various activities here.
