January 2025: Euclid Public Library's Administrative team moved to the Lakeview office space on January 30.
The Library met with Bialosky and Turner Construction to determine moving and closing dates for the renovation project.
Sunlight General removed the solar panels from the library roof in preparation for upcoming construction.
February 2025: Turner Construction began renovating the Library's temporary location at 475 E 185th Street.
Town hall meetings were held to share renovation updates and temporary service plans with the community.
The Library Board of Trustees approved a proposal to move and reconfigure shelving from Library Design Associates.
Packing began in staff spaces, closets and storage areas.
The City of Euclid approved a permit for a new electronic sign at the renovated library, scheduled for installation in 2026.
March 2025: On March 14, Euclid Public Library hosted a Renovation Launch to celebrate the start of construction.
The Main Library at East 222nd Street officially closed to the public on March 14.
Euclid Public Library Board approved the Turner renovation contract (GMP #1) for the 475 East 185th temporary library location.
Armbruster Moving & Storage began transferring materials and furniture from the Main Library to EPL at 185th.
April 2025: Turner Construction began demolition and renovation of Main Library on East 222nd Street.
EPL at 185th opened to the public on Monday, April 14.
The Euclid Public Library Board approved the Turner renovation contract (GMP #2) for the 631 East 222nd library location.
