2025 Euclid Public Library Summer Reading Program
Monday, June 2 – Saturday, August 9, 2025 -- All Ages
Who can participate?
Patrons of all ages from birth through adults can participate. We know that children under 6 may not be able to read but they can certainly be read to! Click here to learn about why it is important to read to your child.
We will have three challenges for different age groups:
- Children Birth to 6th Grade
- Teens Grades 7-12
- Adults
How do I participate?
Visit https://euclidlibrary.beanstack.org/ to login to your account via a web browser or scan or tap the QR code below to download the Beanstack Tracker app from your app store.

When can I start reading?
Patrons may login to their existing Beanstack account or create their first Beanstack account at anytime. However, Registration and the logging of reading begins on Monday, June 2. You will not be able to see the Summer Reading challenges in your account until June 2, 2025.
Why should I participate?
There are a lot of research, comments, and theories out there (here, here, and here) about how children lose skills over the summer if they don't keep up on them. Reading every day, even if it is only for 15 minutes, can stimulate the mind and keep skills fresh.
If you are someone who reads already, why not earn prizes for your positive habits?
How much do I need to read and what prizes can I earn?
Anyone who can confirm their registration with a library staff member, can receive a FREE EPL Summer Reading yard sign to put in their yard. Quantities are limited; signs will be available while supplies last.

Children and teens are tasked with reading 8 hours over the course of the 10-week program. We count time spent reading instead of books because everyone reads at different speeds but still deserves rewards. Long books could take all summer!
Here are the prizes:
- Registration: Free Book
- 2 hours read: treasure box prize and snack (you may have two treasure box prizes if you cannot have the snack for any reason)
- 4 hours read: treasure box prize and snack
- 6 hours read: treasure box prize and snack
- 8 hours read: Free Book and BOGO Free ticket voucher to see the Cleveland Charge or Cleveland Monsters
Adults will get a pen for registering (while supplies last). Each book read earns an entry into our grand prize drawing. There will be two winners. The grand prize is a Roku device and EPL tote bag.
Do I have to participate online?
Yes, you must log your reading online. However, if you wish to have a visual indicator for your child, you may print this reading log. Please remember that you still need to sign-in to your Beanstack account to log your reading and that you should log the time spent reading, not the number of books completed.
Don't forget about library programs!
The library is hosting many programs over the summer! Programs for children and teens will take place either in Room 39 at Shore Cultural Centre or at Kenneth J. Sims Park. Adult programs will take place in Room 41 at shore Cultural Centre. Please view our calendar and click on each program for location, age group, and program descriptions.
