Double Your Reading Fun This Summer

This summer, everyone is invited to read, explore, and earn rewards through Euclid Public Library's Summer Reading Program, taking place from Monday, June 2, through Saturday, August 9, 2025. With this year's theme, Build a Better World , EPL encourages readers of all ages, from newborns to seniors, to enjoy 10 weeks of fun, discovery, and lifelong learning.

How It Works

Participants are challenged to read for a total of 8 hours throughout the summer. For every two hours of reading completed, you will receive a prize. Whether you enjoy picture books, novels, audiobooks, or magazines, all reading counts. Children who are not yet reading independently can still join by listening to stories read aloud by a grown-up or during library storytimes.

How to Participate

Track your reading using the Beanstack Tracker App on your smartphone or visit https://euclidlibrary.beanstack.org/reader365. A paper reading log is also available to download and color from the EPL website. Reading must still be logged in Beanstack to qualify for prizes.

Getting Started

If you have participated in an EPL reading challenge since 2019, your Beanstack login information will still work. If you're new, setting up an account takes just a few minutes. You will need to enter your contact information and answer a few quick questions to place you or your child in the correct challenge. For help, visit the Information Desk or call 216-261-5300.

Bonus Challenge: National Summer Reading Opportunity

In addition to EPL's program, students in grades K through 8 can also participate in the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge, a national initiative that encourages children to read 12 books over the summer. Promoted by Second Lady Usha Vance, this challenge is another great way to build strong reading habits while school is out. Reading logs for this challenge are available at EPL at 185th.
