The Euclid Art Association Spring Fine Art Show will be featured at the Euclid Public Library from May 12 – 19, 2018. With 174 works by 41 artists this year, the show has become an annual tradition and helps fulfill the club’s purpose: to stimulate an interest in the visual arts among members and to provide a focus on the fine arts for the community. Many works of art are available for purchase. The exhibit is open to the public during library hours, and awards will be given at a reception in the Lake and Shore Rooms from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. As an added bonus, visitors may take chances on an original framed watercolor by Cathy Welner, to be raffled off at the end of the show. When the new membership cycle begins on July 1, the Euclid Art Association will be celebrating its 60th anniversary year. September’s meeting agenda includes a look back at memorable people and events, and a look forward by assembling the collective vision and participation of current members.
