Summer Camps & Daycares

The Euclid Public Library has been working diligently to ensure patrons and staff remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The library closed in March 2020 and reopened for lobby service in May of 2020. The library opened for browsing briefly in the fall but went back to lobby service in response to the Cuyahoga County Stay at Home Advisory. The library reopened for browsing on March 22, 2021 and has remained open with modified hours and limited capacity of 50 individuals. Seating has been reduced and we have fewer computers and iPads out to facilitate social distancing. Sparkle Spot is closed. There are currently no toys in the library.

We know that you are looking for fun activities for your groups this summer. Because we are still in the midst of the pandemic and enforcing social distancing, we will not be able to accommodate groups like we have in the past.

  • If you would like to bring a small group of children (less than 10 including adults) to the library, we ask that you call at least 24 hours ahead to inform staff of your visit. Call 216-261-5300 and dial 4 for the Children’s Desk.
    • We cannot guarantee that we will have computers or the iPad available for you.
    • We will be unable to conduct a storytime for your group. Storytime and programs remain virtual on Zoom. Visit our calendar for a listing of virtual and outdoor (distancing required) programs.
  • If your site currently receives visits from our Outreach Department, continue to work with Carol Enkler to schedule visits to your site. She can be reached at 216-261-5300 x5117 or
  • Groups that have not called ahead of their visit, will not be able to visit due to our COVID-19 protocols.
  • Large groups of more than 10 cannot be accommodated.
