Timeline - 2026

 

May 2026

  • The Library Board of Trustees authorized the Fiscal Officer to enter into an agreement for landscape architect services with Behnke Associates.

  • Bialosky Cleveland and Turner Construction teams worked to complete items from the punch list.

  • The Library's Donor Wall, recognizing donations from library supporters, was installed by Arreya Digital Signage.

 

April 2026

  • The last day for library service provided out of the East 185th Street location was Friday, April 3. 

  • Armbruster Moving & Storage completed packing library books and transferring materials and furniture from EPL at 185th to Main Library.

  • New furniture for public and staff spaces was delivered.

 

March 2026

  • Turner Construction began installing cabinetry, carpeting, painting and working on finishes. 

  • The library staff began preparing for the upcoming move back to main library by packing offices and work spaces.

  • Director Armstrong hosted the first Renovation Town Hall of 2026 to share updates on the library's renovation project.

 

February 2026

  • Euclid Public Library posted a landscaping RFQ on the library website to solicit qualified contractors to design, install and maintain the landscaping and irrigation system at the renovated library. 

  • The Library Board of Trustees approved the closure of Euclid Public Library at the East 185th location from April 3-May 31, 2026, to accommodate for the completion of the renovation and the return to the Main Library site at 631 East 222nd Street. 

  • Turner Construction installed interior lights, ceramic tile and millwork.

 

January 2026

  • The Library Board of Trustees approved the Visual Identity Guidelines created by Frozen Creative under the direction of Euclid Public Library's Marketing Manager, Courtney Barnes. 

  • Turner construction began installing drywall and finishes.
