Patrons should expect material hold delays until further notice due to logistical and process interruptions impacted by COVID and a recent change in our delivery provider.
The State Library of Ohio recently contracted with a new courier company to manage the delivery of material holds throughout the state. While the state transitions to this new library delivery service, delivery of material holds will slow considerably until the new company gets up to speed.
The State Library of Ohio reached out to library partners to explain the steps to remedy the material hold delays experienced by libraries and apologize for the inconvenience delayed deliveries have caused.
This service is a high priority for the State Library of Ohio/OhioLINK and EPL, and please be assured the State Library of Ohio is doing everything they can to resolve the delays as quickly as possible.
