1 LIBRARY LIAISON WINTER/SPRING 2025 Winter/Spring 2025 VOLUME 7 / ISSUE 1 Director’s Report Kacie V. Armstrong The Board, staff, and volunteers of the Euclid Public Library wish you a Happy New Year! This year, we are officially “starting a new chapter!” We invite you to join us for a Renovation Town Hall Meeting on January 8 (online) or January 14 (in-person) as we share the specific dates for our upcoming move. Euclid Public Library will be in four temporary locations in 2025 as Turner Construction renovates the library. Visit euclidlibrary.org/renovation for additional renovation information. As we begin this new chapter, we want you to know that we are still here to support your academic, personal, and professional goals. Euclid Public Library has plenty of programs this season, including author events. Families are encouraged to participate in the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Literature Week from January 13-17. This week is to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Coretta Scott King. Euclid Public Library in partnership with Cleveland Public Library and Shaker Heights Public Library will host local author Abby Collette as she discusses her latest book. This event will take place February 27 at 6:00 PM at Zanzibar Soul Fusion located at 13225 Shaker Square, Cleveland, OH. Registration is required for this free event. In March, the Friends of the Euclid Public Library will host their annual lunch on the 13th at 12:00 PM. Participants will learn about American country music singer and songwriter Loretta Lynn. Support your local Cleveland International Film Festival from March 27- April 5.
