Listen to storyteller, Dan Ruminski, talk about Cleveland’s great Millionaire’s Row.  From 1875 to 1930, Euclid Avenue’s Millionaire’s Row was considered by many to be the greatest avenue in the world.  Join us to hear marvelous stories about the “Row” and its day-to-day lifestyles, fortunes, and tragedies.  Discover who built the mansions, what they cost, where the money came from and what caused the decline and destruction of Cleveland’s gem.

Ready to Work: Communication Skills for Employment Success

Join Lauren Burnett from the Center for Inner Quality for this program in developing the communication skills you need to succeed on the job and in life. Participants will complete a skills inventory, which will be interpreted so you can receive individual, focused insight into how you can present yourself to prospective employers in your best light.

Indie Author Day

Today is Indie Author Day, a day to celebrate the talents and efforts of independent authors.  Whether you are a writer yourself or would like to support budding authors, you are welcome to join us.  Today’s speaker is Everett Prewitt, award-winning author of Snake Walkers and A Long Way Back, who will speak about the writing experience.  This will be followed by an Open House where local authors can showcase and sell their books.
