Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday is an international day of giving. It is a day that gives us a chance to reflect on what we can do to make the world a slightly better place.  Drop in and help make fleece blankets that will be donated to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Refreshments will be served.

This worldwide phenomenon has made more than $1 billion at the box office, making it one of the Top 10 grossing movies of all time. There have been no superhero movies in the theaters since the summer, so come watch T'Challa defend his kingdom from a takeover attempt by Killmonger, with help from M'Baku, his sister Shuri, Nakia, and other Marvel luminaries! Do you experience stress and feel overwhelmed? Do emotions get the best of you? Join us and explore journaling as an excellent resiliency tool for life and work. Learn the different types of journaling and through a hands-on activity experience how it can de-stress, increase clarity and express emotions.  Local author and national speaker and trainer Lauren Burnett leads this class.  As a lifelong journaler, she finds it is key to enhancing creativity and making sense of life’s activities.

Living History: The Normandy Invasion

Join us for an evening of fun and learning as we view the World War II Normandy Invasion and combat action through the eyes of a U.S. soldier from the fifth Rangers. Presenter Peter Booth, will give a first-person account and bring in personal military memorabilia that belonged to his mother and father. Both of Peter’s parents served in the United States Army during World War II. Sponsored by the Euclid Public Library Foundation.
