Tips to Try 

Count how many hops it takes to get somewhere. How many hops to the bathroom? How many hops around the dining room table? 

Name animals that hop (rabbits, frogs, kangaroos) and pretend to move like that animal. Pretend to be an animal that doesn't hop. What a would a hopping elephant look like?
