Let your child help set the table.

Let your child help with recipes/cooking.

Learn to do something new together. Build a model, learn a new game; read the directions together and refer back to them together to show the importance of following directions. 

Have a scavenger hunt - only by following the directions correctly will they find the prize at the end!

Play Simon Says with multipart instructions (Simon Says touch your nose then your toes!) 

Have your child help you with a task that has two or more parts. Ex: Take your clean clothes to your room and then bring me your backpack.)
