Teacher Card and Loan Guidelines

  • Any teacher or homeschooler may obtain a second library card exclusively for classroom or homeschool use.
  • Please present your active CLEVNET or Greater Access Card with your driver's license to the Circulation Desk.
  • The teacher loan card is valid only at the Euclid Public Library and items for personal use may not be charged out on it.
  • Materials on this card may be borrowed for 6 weeks with the exception of feature films and Educational Enrichment Kits.
  • The limit per card is 50 items or $1,000 worth of materials.
  • Regular fines apply: $.05 per day on most materials.

Please do not plan to exhaust an entire subject area. Choosing all fiction, all readers or all picture books is not considered exhausting a subject. Books by one author, one subject, or in one series will be discouraged. If this occurs, the Children's Service staff will help select related materials.

To reserve materials on this card, please ask for assistance from the Children's Services staff. Only materials that Euclid Public Library owns can be reserved on a teacher loan card.
