Photovoltaic Power is up and running in Euclid! Both Euclid City Hall and our Euclid Public Library have had solar panels installed on our roofs. This is one of the largest joint public projects in the State of Ohio. These solar panels will help meet the electrical needs of both our civic buildings.
In addition to the solar energy collected, the project will offset about 150 tons of carbon dioxide each year, lessening the carbon footprint of both the library and city hall.

An educational component can be found with the kiosks in both city hall and the library. When you visit, you'll be able to see the real time information being gathered by the panels on our rooftops. This information also is available on both our web sites at library kiosk site and for information about city hall's solar panels go to their site.
