Grab your blanket, some lawn chairs, your neighbors and friends for an evening of pleasant music in our gardens. You could bring a picnic if you'd like as well! Beginning tonight and every Tuesday in July we'll enjoy a live band, all for free, right in our own community thanks to our Friends of the Euclid Library.

 Tonight's band is the Swinging Bavarians. If you like German and Czech polkas, then this is the band for you! They'll also play some marches, waltzes and more so bring your dancing shoes and get ready to dance! The Swinging Bavarians got their start with a group of musicians from the Al Koran Shriners who got together to play tunes from an old Czech music book. They had such a good time they entered a German Band competition and earned a rating of "superior!"

 Although not all of the members are Shriners, they continue to donate what they receive from playing to the Shriner's Hosptials and burn Institutes.
