Lake Room Did you know that the potato chip, the super soaker water gun and blood banks were all discovered by African American Inventors? Discover the many amazing inventions of African Americans through exciting activities and participate in simple fun-filled science experiments. Registration begins February 11. CULINARY KIDS: Ladybugs, Caterpillars, Butterflies, OH MY!  Stories, snacks and fun…join us as we prepare and eat bugs. No, not those bugs!--we’re talking about the bugs we’ll be making with healthy things you’d find around the kitchen. Please feel free to wear an apron or clothes which can get messy!
